Hi guys, my name is Sarah and I'm new to all this. My mom became a witness about ten years ago and I attended all the meetings and other stuff with her since she joined. About 3 years ago I felt under pressure to be baptised. most of the other kids my age were already baptised andthey kept asking me questions. I thought a lot of them were total hipocrites, they used to stand around at the back of the hall talking about weed and porn and I knew they were only there because of their parents.

I started going through the questions with 2 elders and one of the elders wives was really kind to me. she used to go shopping with me, buy me clothes, invite me around for dinner and other stuff. I thought she was just being nice. Anyway, about a month after I was baptised, i was over at their house (they had 2 other kids a bit younger than me as well) when the mother asked me if I wanted to go upstairs to try on some of her new clothes. I stripped down to my knickers and bra to try on this new dress she had (we were about the same size) when she said to take off my bra as well. I felt a bit uncomfortable, but didn't think anything when she said it was a strapless. She put the dress on over my head and I felt her hands touching me all over as she was doing it. I knew there was something wrong but didn't know what to do. Then she leaned in and tried to kiss me!!!!!! I said nothing, just dressed and got out of there as quickly as possible.

I didn't know what to do for days after. I was trying to be a good witness at the time (only a month baptised!) and went to one of th elders to talk about it. He was really nice and sympathetic, but a couple of days later, they called around to my house and sat me down along with my mom. They said that they had heard her side of it and I must ahve just been confused!! They even f**king implied that I was the one who started it by undressing!!!!!!!!!!! They said it wsn't appropriate for a girl of my age to undress in front of a woman, and to put the whole thing in prayer. I coudn't f**king believe it.

I'm still at the meeting and hate the whole thing now. I really don't know what to do!

What a bunch of freaks.  I'm so sorry this has happened to you.  The lack of true love and self control is sickening.

Have you spoken to this women since it happened?  Does your mother believe you? And what does she say about the whole thing?

Now you know that there are a whole lot of hyprocrits at the KH (and you know where the kids learned it).  I hope you are able to leave this religious cult and move on with your life.

Welcome to the forum.

Thanks Lisa,

My mother did believe me (I think) and has since been questioning a lot of stuff.

Can I ask a question of anyone reading... what eventually convinced you all to go? Was it hard starting out again?

Hi Sarah,

What conviences most Jehovah's Witesses to leave the WT organization is that they finally realize that it's all a big LIE!

Absolutely NO ONE gets ETERNAL LIFE by being a Jehovah's Witness.

Understanding that a person does NOT get eternal life through the WT organization,  a person then understands that they CAN NOT LOOSE THEIR eternal life if they leave the WT org. because they can never gain eternal life through the WT organization anyway.

This fear of loosing ones salvation and being destroyed by JEHOVAH,  along with everyone else who is NOT a JW, is a fear that is based on WT LIES!!!

Again, absolutely NO ONE gets ETERNAL LIFE by being a Jehovah's Witness.

Sarah, we receive Eternal Life when we repent of our sins and then place our faith and trust in the person Jesus Christ. We do NOT gain eternal life through a RELIGION, we get eternal life through a PERSON!!! JESUS CHRIST.

When we place our faith in what Jesus did for us when He died for our sins, we receive the forgiveness of our sins.  Through this forgiveness of sins we receive ETERNAL LIFE  as a FREE GIFT that we DO NOT work for or try to EARN, but a GIFT that we ACCEPT as an act of God's GRACE.

Eternal life is NOT through a religion but through FAITH in JESUS CHRIST

Here are some of the many scriptures that the WT organization does NOT want you to see

They intentionally will NOT put these scriptures in any of their publications, that way they can continue to deceive people into believing their salvation is through their WT religion instead of through faith in Jesus Christ.

I didn't mean to give you so many scriptures but they are hiding soooo many of them from the people who trust them.

I hope this post will help and I will give you my e-mail address if you want it.

From Gene777

Faith In Jesus Christ

Acts 24:24 " He listened to Paul as he spoke about faith in Jesus Christ."

2 Tim 3:15 "..salvation through faith in Jesus Christ."

Gal 3:26 "You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

Gal 2:15 "..we know that a man is not justified (saved) by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we too have put our faith in Jesus Christ..."

Phil 3:9 "..not having a righteousness of my own, but that which is through   faith in Jesus Christ - the righteousness that comes from God is by faith."

Acts 26:18 "..so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in Me." - Jesus Christ

Gal 3:22 "..so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe."

Rom 3:22 "This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to ALL who BELIEVE."

Rom 4:16 "Therefore the promise comes by faith..."

Rom 19:8 "that is the word of faith we are preaching"

1 Tim 3:13 "..great assurance in their faith in Jesus Christ."

Col. 1:4 "We have heard of your faith in Jesus Christ"

John 12:11 "the Jews were going over to Jesus, putting their faith in Him."

Acts 20:21 "turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus Christ."

We Have Eternal Life Through JESUS CHRIST

1 John 5:11-13 "God has given us Eternal Life and this life is in His Son. He who has Jesus Christ has Eternal Life. He who do not have Jesus Christ does not have life.

I write these things to you who believe in Jesus Christ so that you may know that you HAVE Eternal Life."

John 3:36   "Whoever believes in the SON has Everlasting Life"

Acts 10:43  "All the prophets testify about Jesus Christ, that everyone who places their faith in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name."

John 6:47   "He who believes in Me has Everlasting Life." - Jesus Christ

Act 4:10,12  "Nor is there salvation in any other name, for there is NO OTHER NAME given among men by which we must be saved. - by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

I left almost 20 years ago. I was raised in it from about 2yrs old.   I just couldn't do it, the endless meetings, and field service....  I was df'd three times.......... I went back twice because it was all I knew....  I couldn't have worldy friends, but I was too spiritually weak for anyone in the KH  to have anything to do me, even when I was in good standing.

The last time I was df'd...my parents decided to really shun me, the first two times I was only halfheartedly being shunned.  Now there really was no one..no family and no friends.  I was alone in the world.

Except my two young children from my first two df'ing's....ummm I mean marriages with worldly men.    I made friends with people I worked with, and got married again.

I still believed it for a long time, but decided to just live my life to the best of my abilities, and have fun,  doing what we wanted, yet still living a moral life...... until Jehovah killed us.

About 5 years ago, I got online....for the first time I realized that I had been lied to my entire life.

Yes it was hard starting out.  But being free to think for myself is much better.

My parents shunning me for real was probably the best thing they could have done.  Wow...I just now realized that.  If they had not shunned me, I would have gone back and raised my kids as JW's.

Ask any questions you have.  Welcome to the forum.

There is good and bad in all religions my experice with the Jehoviah's witnesses are they are nice caring people . Im sorry that you had a bad experience but believe me i have been to 36 churches.

1 church an elder tried to have sex with me

2 churches discriminated me because of my disability

the majority of churches are just dead.

Its not nice when something like this happends, however you will find this sort of thing where ever there is a group of people because the world is screwed up

Yes...Jubilee...there are screwed up people all over the world.  But I don't have to sit with them or associate with them, or allow them around my children or grandchildren.

What do you mean the majority of churches are dead?  I know the ones around here are packed every Sunday when I drive by.

Welcome to the forum.
